Studio Gear

Outboard Equipment: Our sessions are carefully monitored and tracked using a sophisticated 32-channel digital mixer from Presonus. This setup, designed for high versatility, allows us to record various instruments at once — a feature particularly beneficial for bands. Should you require any instruments, we also provide an assortment for rent to accommodate your needs during the session.

Microphones: At Play Talk Studios, we value quality and consistency in capturing vocals, which is why we use the industry’s gold-standard Neumann U-87 microphone. But our mic locker goes beyond that, housing a diverse collection suited for any sound objective or recording context. Our dedicated in-house engineer is always ready to walk you through our selection, ensuring you find the right microphone that resonates with your unique sound.

Instruments: If you require instruments for your session, we have a variety available for rent. Our current roster includes the Mitchell T333CE-BST Solid Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar, the Fender Player Stratocaster Black Solid Body Electric Guitar, the Roland JD-XI, and the Yamaha XF6 keyboard. We’re also adding drums to our rental lineup soon. Please remember to reserve and rent your desired instrument during the checkout process prior to your session.

Our Podcast Room Rules

6 people max in the podcast room or the lobby at one time. We have enough mics, stands, and chairs for 4 people to be in the podcast simultaneously.
We do not include recording or video with just the room rental. Those services can be added for an additional cost when checking out.
Any promotion, logo, banner, etc., can be put up for your podcast for promotion if needed.

Anything stolen will lead to a lifetime ban for any guests present at the time of the incident, as well as charges being pressed, so please be mindful of your guests
If things get heated in a conversation for any reason, make sure that you leave or de-escalate the situation the best way possible we are not responsible for or will tolerate any violence in our office or community.
