Studio Recording:
- 2-hour recording session w/ rough mix included – $150
- 4-hour recording session w/ rough mix included – $280
- 8-hour recording session w/ rough mix included – $500
Studio Recording w/ Video Footage (Filming):
- 2-hour session w/ rough mix and video recording footage – $250
- 4-hour session w/ rough mix and video recording footage – call for pricing
- 8-hour recording session w/ rough mix and video recording footage – call for pricing
Podcast Room Rental and Services:
- 1 hour of podcast room rental without video or audio recording – $50
- 1 hour of podcast room rental with audio recording and editing – $75
Song Final Mix:
Every session comes with a rough mix. The remaining time after the recording is finished is dedicated to mixing. For example, if you book a 2-hour session and it takes an hour to record your song, we will have an hour left to mix your track. If you want more time for your mix or a final mix, we offer that service for an additional $200 per song.
Instrument Rentals:
Guitar rental per session – an additional $20 with add-on included.
Drum Rental per session- an additional $50 per session with add on included
STUDIO FOUNDERChristopher Botta
Christopher Botta owns and manages PlayTalk Studios, located in Tempe, Arizona. His dream has always been to have a professional studio to call his own. As an artist who has been recording for many years and attended C.R.A.S to learn audio engineering, this is his commitment to music.
He has been too many studios to record his music and has gotten to experience how different rooms, equipment, engineers, and vibes all play into how a record comes out. Playtalk is Chris’s home away from home, as he hopes to be able to continue to build with equipment, experience, good music, and memories of a lifetime while opening his studio to the public to make their magic reality.

Our setup blends cutting-edge digital options with high-quality outboard gear, adding a unique warmth to the sound before it reaches the mix.

Outboard
We use a 32 channel digital mixer from Presonus to track our sessions. We have the ability to record multiple instruments for bands and have instruments to rent if needed.
MICS
We track vocals with The Neumann U-87, one of the industries best and most trusted mics. We have other mics to choose from too, just ask our engineer and have fun trying out the different sounds to each!
INSTRUMENTS
Currently, we have a Mitchell T333CE-BST Solid Top Acoustic-Electric Guitar, a Fender Player Stratocaster Black Solid Body Electric Guitar, a Roland JD-XI and Yamaha XF6 keyboard and one set of Yamaha Drums for rental. Keyboards are available to use with any sessions booked but Guitar and Drums packages are required at checkout for rental.
